Lesley Page
Professor Lesley Page is Joint Head of Midwifery and Nursing Women’s Services Guy’s and St Thomas’ NHS Trust and visiting professor of midwifery Nightingale School of Nursing and Midwifery King’s College London.
Lesley has had extensive experience in midwifery practice, leadership and academic work in the UK and Canada. She is widely published and has lectured in many parts of the world. She was a member of the Expert Maternity Group that wrote Changing Childbirth in 1993 and was specialist advisor to the House of Commons Sub committee investigating the maternity services in 2003.
Her research over many years has focussed on the effects of continuity of carer on the outcomes of birth.
