Emmaline Kitson

My love for the water began when I was 6 months old. My mother believed in taking us all swimming at a young age. I was a qualified scuba diver at the age of 12 years and swam every day. When my son was born I took him to Birthlight classes with Amanda Walker, and from there my teaching career began. I trained with Amanda, Sally Lomas and Francoise Freedman.

I now run Aqualight babies, my own swim school, in Northampton . I tutor for Birthlight and the STA. I am a full ASA teacher and also hold a Baby Yoga Diploma. I have passion for the work I do with babies who have had difficult births and also babies and children who have additional needs.
