CambridgeThe city of Cambridge is in the south east of England, 50 miles north of London. It is well served by road and rail links, and is within an easy distance of the major London airports. Homerton College is situated on Hills Road just out of the City Centre between the main railway station and Addenbrookes Hospital, offering easy access by any means of transport.
By CarCambridge is linked to London and the M25 by the M11 motorway, exit at junction 11.
- From London
Follow directions to Cambridge along the M11. At Junction 11 take the A1309 into Cambridge. At the second set of traffic lights turn right into Long Road. Continue to the next major crossroad. Turn left into Hills Road and then go straight on for approximately half a mile. Homerton College is on your left-hand side. Park your car in the visitors' car park, and go to the Porter's Lodge, where you will be given directions around the college.
- From North of Cambridge
Departing north of Cambridge, follow directions to the A1 south, and follow the A1 and A1(M) until it joins the A14. Take the A14 as far as the M11, and then take the M11 following directions to Cambridge. At Junction 11 take the A1309 into Cambridge, and then proceed as for directions from London.
- Parking
There are 230 car parking spaces on site. For conference visitors and long term parking, please enter the College via Harrison Drive, 100 yards from the main entrance, and continue to the end of this road where you will find the Visitor's Car Park on the left-hand side.
By RailFrequent trains depart from London's Kings Cross and Liverpool Street Stations and the journey takes less than an hour. Homerton College is a short taxi ride from the Railway Station. There are also good connections from Peterborough, Birmingham, Manchester and Edinburgh.
By CoachApproximately two-hour journey from London's Victoria Coach Station to Drummer Street Bus Station in Cambridge.
By AirStansted Airport is approximately 30 minutes away via M11 motorway. Heathrow and Gatwick are both linked to Cambridge with frequent coach services.nt
